Hi there! I'm Sierra Roselyn, a certified health coach and online content creator with a specialist degree in psychology. As someone who struggled with food and weight issues in the past, my mission is now to help others achieve lasting weight loss and behaviour change through personalized, evidence-based strategies. My Story

The motivation for Sierra Roselyn Health Coaching came from my own personal struggles with weight loss and behaviour change. I was overweight throughout my childhood years, and although I successfully lost weight in high school, I did so in a very unhealthy and unsustainable way. This led me to developing a severe eating disorder that lasted over five years of my life. I struggled with both restricting and binge eating during this time, but ultimately ended up gaining back a lot of the weight I had previously lost. I became desperate to overcome my issues with food and lose the excess weight I had gained, but no matter how much I learned about proper nutrition and healthy weight loss practices, I was never able to consistently implement what I was learning. In other words, even when I knew what to do, I just couldn’t seem to make myself do it, at least not consistently. It wasn’t until I started learning more about psychology and the role mindset plays in weight loss and behaviour change that I was finally able to start changing my habits and overcoming my struggles with food for good. Although it took years of research, self-experimentation, and a formal education in psychology, I was finally able to narrow down an approach to nutrition and behaviour change that enabled me to completely overcome my issues with disordered eating and lose the excess weight I had gained for good. I have maintained my ideal weight for several years now, am healthier and happier than I have ever been, and can confidently say I will never go back to struggling with food or weight again.

My Mission

Although I am grateful for everything I went through, since it taught me everything I know about health and fitness today, I wouldn’t have had to struggle if I simply had access to the right information at the beginning of my journey. Hence, that is exactly what I aim to provide as a health coach and content creator; I want to provide others with the information, support, and guidance I wish I had when I was struggling with my own health and fitness. Information not just about what to do to achieve your goals, but how to actually get yourself to do it, and continue doing it for the rest of your life.

My Message

To anyone struggling right now, please know you are not alone. I know firsthand just how frustrating and debilitating it can be to struggle with food and weight. However, I also know that change is entirely possible. I once believed I was incapable of change too, and I deeply empathize with anyone in that position, but I was wrong. Despite how challenging my journey was and how severe my issues with food became, I was still able to achieve my ideal weight and completely transform my lifestyle, and if I could transform from my lowest points, I truly believe anyone can. All you need is the right information, guidance, and support, and that is exactly what I’m here to provide.
